Summer Is Upon Us

It’s spring! Summer is quickly approaching. Soon it will be time for crop tops and two-piece bikinis. If you’re anything like me your summer body is not quite ready.

Luckily we still have time to get our bodies looking a lot better. All is not lost. With dedication in just 30 days, your body can be transformed.

Following these simple tips will leave you with a more lean and toned body. Try these for 30 days and keep me posted on your results. Stay tuned for my weight loss tips and updates of my progress.

How to lose up to 20 lbs in 30 days:

  • The Dreaded Weigh In

First, you need to weigh yourself. Many of us are terrified of stepping on the scale. It’s important to know where you stand. You have to know you are so you can know where you are headed and track your progress.

  • Burn 500 calories a day

Burning 500 calories daily will equal 1 lb a week. You must burn more calories than you consume. Myfitnesspal.com is my favorite calorie tracker. The calorie deficit is already factored in when you set your goal. It’s a simple way to keep a food journal.

  • Hydrate

Drink half your weight in ounces of water. Cut out sugary drinks, opt for coffee and green teas. Add lemon to water to help flush out water weight.

  • Nothing white

I heard 50 Cent refer to it as the Black Panther diet. Don’t eat anything white. To include bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, refined sugar. The supplement. L-glutamine reduces sugar cravings.

Low carb diet

Additional Tips:

  • Limit your consumption of starchy fruit. Bananas, pineapples, grapes.
  • Eat 5-6 small meals to suppress hunger and cravings.
  • Take a multivitamin to make up for the calories you’re cutting. Many of us are deficient in essential vitamins and nutrients. I suggest adding B complex for energy and metabolism.
